Website Design

My Role:
  • Research and analysis of competitors;
  • A design concept development for the client;
  • Graphics creating using AI;
  • Adaptive design development;
  • Close cooperation and layout transfer to the development department.
Team:

On this project, I closely collaborated with the marketing department, the development team, and an illustrator.

The Challenge:

The outcome of the work was supposed to be a modern, clean, and user-friendly landing page for an American company that consults in the logistics industry. The primary goal of the page is to inform and guide users towards filling out a contact form.

Process:

Using documents, research, and input from the marketing department, interactive wireframes were created. After testing and finalizing the structure, the UI design was developed (approximately 18 hours). Simultaneously, close collaboration with an illustrator was ongoing for the creation of graphics. After approval and subsequent adaptation creation, the layout was promptly handed over for development. Prior to launch, I conducted design testing with developers across various devices, refining the project to perfection.

Landing Structure:
  • Hero section;
  • Partners and metrics;
  • Core benefits;
  • Talented Stuff;
  • CTA form;
  • Feedback from clients with linkedin links;
  • Google Map with offices location;
  • CTA.
Grid:

I used a 4 px micromodule and a standard 12 columns. For desktop 1440 — margin 80, gutter 20; 1024 — 8 columns, margin 32, gutter 20; 768 — 6 columns, margin 24, gutter 20; 390 — 2 columns, margin 18, gutter 16.

Illustration:

Together with a talented illustrator, a package of unique illustrations was created. Working as a team, we generated the most appropriate metaphors and style of graphics.

Conclusion:

Today the project is being actively promoted by the marketing department. The client accepted the design without a single edit. This is a small step for the designer, but a big step for the business.
